HEALTH SERVICE MANAGER
Roster: 8 weeks on, 2 weeks off
Reports To: CEO
Industrial Instrument: Nurses Award

As the Health Services Manager, you will oversee both strategic and operational management, implementing SHS’s strategic plan under the guidance of the CEO and in consultation with the Medical Director.

Your responsibilities will include planning, directing, and coordinating daily operations, managing resources within budget, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality primary health care to the community.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver services aligned with strategic priorities and best practices. Maintain relationships with external agencies to optimize funding and service delivery. Ensure RACGP accreditation and maximize Medicare item claiming. Prepare and submit financial and performance reports. Manage an after-hours on-call roster for emergencies. Promote Aboriginal employment and professional development. Adhere to Work Health & Safety policies and regulations.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Understanding of comprehensive primary health care and Aboriginal community-controlled health services. Experience in financial management and budgeting. Proven experience in managing clinical teams and staff development. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Competency in using accounting, word processing, and email software. Ability to travel and work in remote areas.

Current National Police Check and WA Working with Children Check.

Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or appropriate work visa.

Valid manual driver’s license.
